Note: The start and finish line for the mountain bike leg is the same as for the run. This is where Monument Park Road (USFS 630) intersects Turkey Springs Road (USFS 629). Bike route marked with red ribbons.

Head southwest on Turkey Springs Road for 1.1 miles.

Turn right on access road for the Turkey Springs Guard Station for 0.2 miles.

Turn left on four-wheeler track (Forest Trail 583) and continue for 0.8 miles where the trail crosses Turkey Springs Road. (Note: Where the four-wheeler ruts are very deep, an alternate route has been flagged through the aspens on the right of the trail.)

Cross Turkey Springs Road and continue southward on the four-wheeler trail for 1.7 miles where a faint jeep road goes to the left. (Note: A short, steep downhill in this section has loose dirt and rocks. Dismount and push/carry bike is recommended if you are unfamiliar.)

Turn left on the faint jeep road and go northward for about 1.7 miles.

Turn right on Brockover Mesa Road (USFS 919) and go for only about 0.1 mile.

Turn left onto a single track trail; pass an old fire pit and go eastward for just over 1.0 mile where the single-track trail intersects Newt Jack Road (USFS 923).

Proceed straight ahead onto Newt Jack Road and go northward for 2.6 miles where the road intersects the Four Mile Stock Trail.

Turn left onto the single-track trail; after about 100 feet bear left and stay on the X-C Ski trail for about 0.6 miles.

Go through the fence and turn hard left; continue on the single track trail for another 1.7 miles until you come to Turkey Springs Road.
- Turn right on Turkey Springs Road and proceed northerly for just under 1.0 mile to the finish line.
