Full & ½-Du start at 9:00am
Pre-race briefing at 8:45am


Driving Directions to the Race:

  • From Highway 160 turn onto Piedra Road – follow Piedra Road for 6.3 miles
  • Turn left (just past cattle guard) onto FS Road 629 (Turkey Springs Road)
  • Continue on FS Road 629 for 2.1 miles until reaching Monument Park Road

This junction is the start and finish line and registration area.
Convenient parking along FS Road 630 (Monument Park Road)
primitive camping on Forest Service property will be available

In its third year, the ACVAP Duathlon is now a highly anticipated summer event!
Scores of runners and bikers wil trek through beautiful Pagosa terrain, ending with prizes,
entertainment, great food and great fun! Spectators welcome too!

ATTENTION NON-ATHLETES: You too can enjoy a great morning out in our beautiful forests for a few hours... we need many volunteers to help out!  It really is a fun time!  Especially this year with the addition of a children s event. We need helpers at the registration tables, race timers, aid stations & course marshals Events start 8 am and end around noon so you still have the rest of your Saturday to enjoy.   Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
